All of the exhaustible sources of energy like coal and oil are being used up in record time and there will be a point in the coming future where we can no longer rely on these sources of energy – they will be gone. Thankfully, science has already given us a few sources of renewable energy:

1. Wind Power
Through the use of carefully constructed wind turbines, these wind farms could pay off in the end but require a long-term investment.

2. Hydropower
This method of energy production has been in use for quite a few years with dams being the primary example. Water is denser than air which means even slow-moving streams or small swells can yield tremendous amounts of energy.

3. Solar Energy
Vast arrays of solar panels are assembled to capture the energy from the sun in the form of solar radiation which can be applied to everyday things like heating the home or cooking.

A greener earth is best for all humanity. In order to preserve the earth and save our natural resources we have to look out for and benefit all organisms. It is not always a full out process, you can gradually start to make some changes. It is something everyone should consider. Renewable energy however is a great breakthrough in this process as well.

Renewable energy just may be the answer to our future. Renewable energy is energy that comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind etc. because they are replaced naturally. Nothing is forced or created to use these resources. When all else fails, this may be the one definite source we as a people can turn to. This is why many believe this is the answer to many environmental issues. It is not wasteful or harming to the environment at all because these are the earths natural resources being reused. It seems to be more so like a cycle instead.

Renewable energy can replace fuel also. It provides electricity generation, solar hot water and bio fuels to replace power, hot water and transport fuels. The percentages of replacements in this field are minor now but as we need these services in the near future, we have alternatives. In order to help save the earth these can be steps to take present day. Renewable energy is the answer to our future. The information party rocks on: Virtual exhibit shows off more than 100 renewable energy projects

The Earth is a fragile organism. We can only rely on non-renewable resources for so long. Eventually we will run out, and when that time comes, will we be prepared? Not only is there the threat of running out, but the kinds of resources that we are using are depleting the Earth, and it’s ozone layer.
There has been talk about “the greenhouse effect” and global warming for a long time, but we seem to deny the inevitable outcome of our actions. We are already experiencing the shortest winters, and the hottest temperatures ever recorded worldwide. This has created stronger storms, and people refuse to put two and two together.
Could Hurricane Katrina have been prevented? The Earth has withstood landfills and pollution, but there is only so much that it can take.
Renewable energy is the only logical solution. Clean energy is cost efficient, as well as less damaging towards the atmosphere and environment. Going green is not just a slogan, but a way of life that we need to embrace before it’s too late. We can’t take back the decades of abuse we have put our planet through, but we can take preventative measures to ensure the quality of life for our future.Take a look here to learn more: Effect of Global Warming

Renewable energy is smart for the environment and smart for your pocketbook. While the initial set up may be a bit steep, the return on the investment is priceless. Using renewable energy at any level or form will help the average household cut their dependence on fossilfuels, help keep the planet green, and cut utility bills.

Renewable energy can, for the most part, be used to power and energize whatever one would use propane or natural gas or electricity for. Renewable energy can power tvs, stereos, lights, and even portable heaters., If the individual is more aggresive in their approach to using renewable energy they can power hot water heaters, whole house heaters, and even major appliances like refrigerators and stoves.

Renewable energy does require the individual to invest in converters and batteries in order to translate the power that they harnesteries will store that energy for time periods when the sun is not shins into a acceptable form for their household to use. Battteries will store store that energy for times when the sun is not shining or at night time. Renewable energy is a sound choice for both the environment and the economy. While fossil fuels may run dry, the power of the wind and sun do not apper to be dwindling anytime soon.Still bored?

The idea of not only doing my part for the environment, but also being free of the continuously rising cost of electricity makes renewable energy for my home extremely attractive. I have looked into several things for my home and thought I would share it with the aspiring family looking at becoming self-sufficient in their electric and fuel needs.

The first major thing that you need to understand is that whether you go the route of solar, wind or some other electric power source, this is not a short term commitment. The whole story can be found at http://edmortimer.wordpress.com/2011/08/12/how-to-make-solar-powered-heaters/ The costs are long term. Meaning this, do not expect to immediately get back what you put in. An average solar panel array to power a medium sized family home can easily top ten grand with installation, so it will be years before you make back your investment. Not to despair, that does not mean that it is not worth it, merely that it is something that will be many years before breaking even. Then again, when you are the only house on the block with lights because of a storm or an outage, then that is a pretty good pay off there.

You cannot just plug in some solar panels or wind turbine and call yourself energy smart. There will have to be adjustments. Along with solar or wind, you may want to switch out those electric heaters, stoves and hot water heaters with gas. You cannot imagine the burden that can take off the system. Also, purchasing energy efficient appliances and light bulbs can go a long way to making your home a renewable energy power house.

Going with clean, renewable energy for your family home will not be an easy task. It will take steps and a long term investment. You need to ask yourself, however, is the future of the planet and your wallet worth it?
